3. What Lina Is and Is Not
Lina IS:
An AI-powered coaching tool using evidence-based frameworks

A resource for self-reflection and goal-setting
Available 24/7 for support and guidance
Lina IS NOT:
A licensed therapist, psychologist, or mental health professional
A licensed career counselor or employment specialist
A financial advisor or legal counsel
A guarantee of employment outcomes
A replacement for professional medical, legal, or financial advice
4. No Professional Relationship
Your use of layoff.coach does not create a therapist-patient, attorney-client, financial advisor-client, or any other professional relationship. The Service provides general guidance and support tools only.
5. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to:
Provide accurate information during your interactions
Use the Service for lawful purposes only
Not misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service

Financial outcomes resulting from use of the Service
Your career success depends on many factors beyond our control, including but not limited to: market conditions, your qualifications, your effort, economic factors, and employer decisions.
8. Account Registration and Security
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

Maintain the security of your password

Can be discontinued at any time
Paid Tiers:
One-time payment for Complete Program: $49
Optional monthly subscription for ongoing coaching: $39/month
Payments are non-refundable except as required by law
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; you will have access through the end of your billing period
Refund Policy:
Due to the immediate access to digital content, all sales are final
Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure or exceptional circumstances

10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and AI models, are owned by Modern Day Teams or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MODERN DAY TEAMS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Loss of employment or employment opportunities
Loss of income or profits
Loss of data
Emotional distress
Business interruption
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
